Farhad Moinfar, Director
Citadel’s principal, Farhad Moinfar has consistently defied convention with property developments that break the mould time and time again. He has conceived, constructed and delivered a series of innovative and large scale projects throughout Auckland. All have sold-out with a Gross Development Value of circa $325m million. Prior to commencing his career in property development, Farhad has a background in Commercial Real Estate with one of the world's largest Commercial Real Estate practices. Farhad has a BCA degree Commercial Law, Marketing.
John Schollum, CFO
John has extensive experience in both accounting and finance in the real estate industry in New Zealand. Prior to joining Citadel, he worked for BDO where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. Subsequently he worked for a private developer/investor and has extensive experience in procuring development finance and providing strategic advice. John holds a BMS degree and is a Chartered Accountant.
Elle Foenander, COO
Elle has been integral to the growth of Citadel from its inception. In her capacity as Chief Operating Officer, she oversees all marketing, sales and operational aspects of the group. With a background with some of the largest international commercial property firms and property funds management, she brings a depth of expertise to the wider business. Elle is also a Director of Fortland Capital Limited, Citadel’s land syndication arm. Outside of her role at Citadel, Elle is a respected and accomplished gallerist.
Brandon Morley, Head of Property
Brandon is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the real estate industry. As the Head of Property at Citadel Capital and Fortland Capital, he oversees all aspects of property acquisition, transactions, and divestment. Brandon has successfully managed large-scale construction projects worth a total of $500 million across New Zealand, as well as in Europe and the USA. As director of a specialised property investment and development firm, he has led the development and plan change across multiple projects. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Business - Property from Massey University and a Masters in Construction Management (First Class Honours) from AUT.
Jessie Xie, Planning & Acquisitions Manager
Jessie holds a Bachelor of Planning and a Master of Urban Design from the University of Auckland. With extensive experience in multi-disciplinary land development consultancies, she has been leading consenting and design strategies for large-scale residential developments across the country for high-profile clients. Jessie manages the planning and urban design strategies behind Citadel's acquisitions.
Koon Chakhatrakan, Marketing Manager
Koon is responsible for all marketing activities for Citadel Capital. He specialises in branding and marketing of real estate projects. With prior experience in the commercial property industry, he understands the importance of carefully-crafted marketing strategies to reach investors and owner-occupiers. Koon holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland.
Jennifer Lorenzana, Financial Controller
Jennifer has a well-established career in accounting and finance. She came to New Zealand from Singapore in March 2019 where she spent more than a decade working in a main contractor and property developer, a company listed in the mainboard of Singapore Stock Exchange. She is in charge of Citadel’s financial reporting and management accounting. Jennifer holds an MBA degree and is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Oliver Scutts, Investor Relations
Oliver is responsible for Investor Relations for Citadel and Fortland Capital. With considerable real estate experience under his belt, Oliver has a deep understanding of the property market, investment strategies, and the needs of investors. Prior to joining Citadel and Fortland Capital, Oliver worked as Property & Development Manager for a specialised property investment and development firm. He is widely respected in the industry for his expertise, professionalism, and commitment to building strong relationships with clients.
Lion Yang, Legal & Compliance
Lion oversees the legal and compliance aspects of Citadel’s operations. Lion’s extensive experience in regulatory law has given him a deep understanding of fulfilling legal and compliance obligations. In conjunction with Citadel's external counsels, Lion prioritises the provision of valuable insights and guidance to Citadel in fulfilling its regulatory obligations. Lion holds both a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours in Economics) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in 2017 and currently practices as a barrister.
Paul Duncan, Project Sales Consultant
Paul is meticulous in his dealings, never overlooking a detail, due to his first career as a mechanical design engineer working in both Germany and New Zealand. Paul’s passion for property prompted him to change careers leading him to now specialise in new build commercial units in high-growth areas of Auckland which provide modern, quality workspaces for NZ businesses and high-yield investments for his clients.
Darryl Maclean, Project Sales Consultant
Darryl has thrived in a long and prosperous career in Project Marketing and Sales having completed multiple successful campaigns throughout his years in the industry. His management background and extensive experience in the construction industry, as well as his approachable manner, complements his ability to assist purchasers through the sale process.
